Wetland Permitting

The State adopted the “Joint Environmental Resource Permit (ERP)” application in 1994. The emphasis of the program was to combine State environmental and water quality (i.e. drainage) review into one permit, rather than two permits. The State copies application to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for their independent Federal review of projects having potential wetland impact. ERC, Inc. prepares the environmental aspects of the ERP application, including wetland jurisdictional determinations, FLUCCS and soil maps, wetland functional assessments, seasonal high water table (SHWT) elevation determination, dredge and fill calculations, wildlife surveys, mitigation assessment and design, and conceptual site plan layout and cross sections.
